CHZ Technologies is pleased to announce that they have received a Phase 1 SBIR from the Defense Logistics Agency. This award is entitled: “Thermolyzer® – Domestic Recovery of Gallium and Critical Materials from Waste Electronics.”
Specifically, CHZ Technologies LLC, through their Thermolyzer® technology, offer a domestic, scalable solution for recovering gallium and other critical materials from end-of-life electronics through a clean, high-efficiency gasification process. Their objective is to leverage the Thermolyzer® technology coupled with the Flash Joule Heating process of Flash Metals USA (FMU) to recover the critical material gallium (Ga) from high-value electronic waste (e-waste) streams, thereby enhancing domestic supply security.
